On his blog, Kanye West posted an entry about what just might be an awesome collaboration between himself, Jared Leto of the rock bank, 30 Seconds to Mars and Brandon Flowers from The Killers.  Always the innovator, Kanye had been working on a new song when Brendon and Jared showed up in his studio.  According to Kanye’s blog:

I WAS WORKING ON THIS DOPE A$$ SONG WITH JARED AND BRANDON STOPPED BY. I PLAYED THEM SOME OF THE NEW JEEZY BEATS AND BEFORE EVERYBODY BOUNCED BRANDON HOPPED ON THE KEYBOARD AND I HOPPED ON THE MPC. SH*T WAS DOPE. OH AND YES THOSE ARE SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS ON BRANDON’S SHIRT BY DRIES VAN NOTEN.

What an awesome collaboration! I cannot wait to hear what they ended up with.  Their different styles should bring a super interesting sound to the table.  However, I can’t help but wonder if Kanye plans to take his next album in an entirely new direction than anything else he’d ever done (a la Lil Wayne)?
