Lady Gaga Tops Last.fm’s “Best Of 2009” List
Lady Gaga’s spectacular year just got a little bit better as she was named the number one artist on Last.fm’s list chronicling the “Best Of 2009”.

In addition to Lady Gaga taking the coveted number one spot British sweetheart Lily Allen took third, Beyonce came in sixth and Kanye West had took tenth, rounding out the AMP artists in the Top 10. More AMP artists infiltrated the list with Britney Spears in eleventh place, Taylor Swift at thirteen, the Black Eyed Peas at fifteen and Kelly Clarkson landing in the eighteenth spot.
Last.fm’s list was compiled from data received from listeners computers. The website explains:
We compiled the list by looking at scrobbles for albums released between 1st October 2008 and 16th November 2009. We took out live albums, greatest hits collections, EP’s and singles before pulling them together into the lean, mean format you see before your eyes
