TV Picks: How to Make it in America with Kid Cudi
Make sure to tune into HBO’s newest series brought to you by the producers of Entourage, How to Make it in America is a comedy about two Brooklynites trying to live the American dream by breaking into the fashion industry. AMP artist Kid Cudi makes his acting debut as Domingo, the well connected New York know it all – catch it on HBO on Thursday night at 9pm.
Monday: The Bachelor: Women Tell All, ABC 8pm
Pilot Jake comes back to face the bitter women he scorned this season, make apologies and generally look like a fool. In addition, past bachelors and bachelorettes will be making appearances and catching us up on where they are now and ABC will be airing unseen footage from this highly dramatic season.
Tuesday: American Idol, Fox 8pm
Tune in for the very first live taping with all four judges, all 12 female finalists, and all of two hours to enjoy their initial performances. Could the next American Idollette be performing tonight? All depends on your vote!
Tuesday: Lost, ABC 9pm
This week’s episode centers around everyone’s favorite cuddle bear, Hurley, as well as everyone’s favorite non-English speaking hottie, Jin. A nice break from the past two episodes with the intense Kate and Locke, this week will hopefully be a little more light AND a little more sensical, please ABC!
Tuesday: 16 and Pregnant, MTV 10pm
This wildly popular series returns to show the struggles it takes for children to have children – last episode we saw Jenelle put down her partying gloves and pick up her baby, and this week we’ll follow another new mom who is considering adoption with the support of her family.
Wednesday: American Idol, Fox 8pm
The Top 12 boys sing for your votes on tonights episode. Everyone keeps talking about how strong the female contestants are this year, but the guys just may show them a thing or two. With a long haired hippie, a guitar playing Dad, an adorable 16 year old and a Broadway performer, we’re in for a night of excitement. Remember to vote people! 4 contestants are going to be eliminated on Thursday’s show at 8pm.
Friday: Blades of Glory, ABC 8pm
The Olympics are all about comedy – have you watched the curling events??? Take a break from your luge and bobsled watching and give yourself a chuckle by tuning into Will Ferrell’s comedy about Olympic level figure skating. Watch for Amy Poehler and real life husband Will Arnett playing creepy brother and sister duo with Jenna Fisher as their lil sis.
Friday: 2010 NAACP Awards, Fox 8pm
The award show that honors people of color in the areas of film, TV, literature, and music will be handing out their 2010 awards as well as honoring the great Tyler Perry for his work tonight. Will Oprah show up for her friend Tyler? We hope so!
