Yo, listen! Yo, American Idol is gettin’ hott as the final eight girls fight to stay another week under America’s watchful eye.  Crystal Bowersox flabbergasted the judges with another electrifying performance, while other contestants fall miles short of impressive.  Read on for the American Idol 30 word rehash — AMP style, dawg.

"]I’ll be honest, I missed the first half of American Idol last night due to I have better things to waste my time on, but from watching the 30 second recaps of each performance I could tell I didn’t miss anything spectacular.  Actually, that could be a good rule for AI, if contestants fail to grab viewers’ attention within 30 seconds or less, they don’t deserve to be on the show.  This is a country with short attention spans (like myself) accustomed in making snap judgements, so Idols need to come out with bang from the get-go. 

So building from that observation, here is my summary of the performers last night in 30 words or less.  Go ahead count them, I dare you.

Katie & Paige will fall in the bottom two, Katelyn has crazy person hair, Lacey sounds mousey, Siobhan‘s weirdly good, Didi surprised everyone, Lilly’s grandma knitted her earings, & Crystal is unstoppable.
