 The A-list lineup has been announced for the “FIFA Kick-Off Celebration Concert” the day before the World Cup begins in South Africa.

Your A-team of AMP  artists including [lastfm]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm], [lastfm]Alicia Keys[/lastfm], and [lastfm]Shakira[/lastfm] are scheduled to perform at the first FIFA World Cup hosted by Africa! They’ll share the stage with celebrated African musicians including Angelique Kidjo from Benin, The Parlotones and Amadou and Mariam.

The “FIFA Kick-Off Celebration Concert” will broadcast worldwide on June 10 from the 30,000 seat Orlando Stadium in Soweto, the same township where liberation leader Nelson Mandela lived. The money raised from the concert will be donated to “20 Centres for 2010,” a program that uses football to promote public health and education in poor communities in Africa (AFP).
