Last week, a German journalist reported false facts in an article about Beyoncé, which eventually led to him being fired. Nein, Nein, das ist verboten!
The reporter for German Magazine Neon was fired last week after writing false information in an interview with [lastfm]Beyoncé[/lastfm]. The article reported that Beyoncé has a pre-nuptial agreement with [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] and she’s keeping her desire to have children a secret from her husband. Falsch!
Fans caught the red flag in the interview and complained that it didn’t sound right, and when asked, the journalist wasn’t able to reveal where he got his sources from to Neon, who then concluded he fabricated information and was fired immediately.
Neon retracted the article and issued a public apology to [lastfm]Beyoncé[/lastfm] and her management saying:
“We sincerely apologize to Ms. Knowles and her management for all personal inconvenience that may have arisen due to the publication of this interview.” (Angryape)
