Last week Lady Gaga former producer and boyfriend, Rob Fusari, filed a $30 million lawsuit for being cut out once she reached superstar status. You didn’t think Gaga was gonna let that fly, did you?
Fusari claimed he is owed compensation for their joint partnership of Team Love Child LLC and was turned away once [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] became a worldwide phenomenon after co-producing four songs on The Fame and creating her dance-pop sound and stage name.
Ortner added in the response that their arrangement was, “structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose — to provide to the defendants unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents,” (AP).
Fusari and his company also violated statutes that prohibited them from “acting as employment agents without a license and charging [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] an unlawful fee for their purported services.” (AP).
Sounds like a bunch of attorney mumbo jumbo, but Fusari should watch who he’s messing with, Gaga’s got a new set of chompers she can do some serious damage with.
