If you’re on any social networking site then you know that you have a chance of getting your account hacked. Imagine if you were a celebrity and your chances are much greater. Do you remember the fake tweet on [lastfm]Britney Spears[/lastfm]’ account that announced she had died? Well that hacker finally got arrested. Just this past week in France, the man accused of breaking into the Twitter accounts of President Barack Obama, [lastfm]Britney Spears[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Lily Allen[/lastfm] was arrested. Francois Cousteix was later released and told a reporter:
I did not intend to cause any harm. I’m a nice hacker. It was just a message I wanted to get out to Internet users, to show them that no system is invulnerable.
Really dude, like we don’t know that we can get hacked at anytime. Seriously it’s not funny wishing death on our very own AMP artist Brit Brit.
The 25-year-old man goes by the online name “Hacker Croll.” So beware of him since he is out on bail! He will be tried in June and, and if convicted he faces up to two years in prison and a fine of 30,000 euros. Dang, sucks for him!
