Conan O’Brien Gets A Second Chance To Be ‘Very Funny’
After the infamous stab in the back from NBC, Conan O’Brien shoves it back in their faces by signing a deal with a major cable network to resume his Late Night duties. Be cool my babies, Coco is back!
Conan O’Brien strikes it big with the TBS network and will reign his late night post once again! Starting in November, Conan will make his debut on the “very funny” network with a talk show airing Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m.
His time slot will lead in George Lopez’s late night show “Lopez Tonight,” which is shifting to midnight. Conan announced the exciting news on his Twitter:
In addition to signing a deal with TBS, Conan is trekking around the country for his on the road comedy tour, starting in Eugene, Oregon. He’s only been in the talks with CBS for the past couple of weeks and after the news he commented:
“In three months, I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly” (Yahoo).
