The opening scene of The Simpsons has become a must see moment because the writers usually change-up the animation to squeeze in a funny joke during the show’s theme song. This past weekend, not only was the animation funny, they also used [lastfm]Ke$ha[/lastfm]’s song as the opening instead of the regular theme song. You have to see this Simpsons’ rendition of Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok!” Quite cute if you ask me.

Even though [lastfm]Ke$ha[/lastfm] didn’t appear on the episode, all of the main Simpsons characters ‘sang’ to her original track. While Lisa Simpson and several other characters from the series are lip-synching to [lastfm]Ke$ha[/lastfm]’s original voice, the small lyrics by [lastfm]P. Diddy[/lastfm] are replaced by the voice of Bart Simpson.

Tons of fun clips are shown in this 1 minute¬†15 second short opening! But don’t worry, the family of course meets back at home to sit on their signature couch watching TV, but not before getting tossed up by a large group of Springfield residents.¬†While the opening act with [lastfm]Ke$ha [/lastfm] was completely unrelated with the rest of the episode, it was still an awesome surprise.

Funny Huh!?! How proud do you think [lastfm]Ke$ha[/lastfm] is to have The Simpsons use her song as a theme song for the show’s episode? I would be stoked!
