How about a Nike commercial?
Yes, the emcee who almost singlehandedly revived the Polaroid brand with “Hey Ya!” popped up with a cover of the [lastfm]Beatles [/lastfm]”All Together Now” during a Kobe Bryant Nike spot. The commercial is a compilation of game footage, placing Kobe clips alongside clips of Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley and others.
And Mars Blackmon. Can’t forget Mars Blackmon.
There has been no indication yet that Nike plans to release the cover as a single, digital or otherwise, anytime in the near future.
Fans looking for more new [lastfm]Andre 3000[/lastfm] material may or may not be able to look for a few cameos on his [lastfm]Outkast[/lastfm] partner in crime [lastfm]Big Boi[/lastfm]’s upcoming album, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.
According to Rolling Stone, A3K will be featured on ” a number of tracks,” but his name is nowhere to be found on the album’s track listing, and Big Boi’s Twitter feed only says that the records, “r on deck.”
