The 64th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday was a show stopping event with performances from broadway’s finest [lastfm]Matthew Morrison[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Lea Michele [/lastfm] from the hit show Glee.
Check out their performance and which celebrities Lea serenaded after the jump!
[lastfm]Mathew Morrison[/lastfm] started off the set with a smooth rendition of [lastfm]Frank Sinatra[/lastfm]’s “All I Need Is the Girl,” and was joined on stage by four female back-up dancers. His voice sounded flawless and his exceptional dance moves spiced up the performance!
Then [lastfm]Lea Michele[/lastfm] made her dramatic entrance from the audience aisle singing [lastfm]Barbra Streisand[/lastfm]’s “Rain On My Parade.” While making her way to the stage she decided to stop and sing to some celebrities including her on-screen crush Jonathan Groff, Will Smith, [lastfm]Beyoncé[/lastfm] and[lastfm] Jay-Z[/lastfm]. While the audience was packed with stars, I couldn’t help but notice that maybe she was singing to close to the mic. You be the judge!
- Check out the performance below.
- What did you think of their performance? Was Lea singing to close to the mic? Do you think it was cool how she got to sing to some of the stars in the audience?
