Find out what the drama was in 3…2…1…
He said [lastfm]Beyoncé[/lastfm] stepped in and put her foot down when the hip-hop superstar showed interest in purchasing a black and white photo of “a noirishly lit pistol with a pair of women’s legs emerging from the handle” by esteemed artist/photographer Laurie Simmons.
[lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] compromised with his wife, who did not want the painting in their Tribeca penthouse in New York, and instead purchased another Simmons piece, which depicted a perfume bottle instead of a gun.
Of the original piece he wanted, Beyoncé’s husband of two years said, “It was more of a masculine style, I guess.”
