Never before has an artist been deemed as egotistical and with such a huge Napoleon complex as [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm]. As evidenced by his new single “Power” out on iTunes tomorrow, he is embracing that image of himself with lyrics like “I guess every superhero need his theme music.” Honestly, this attitude is what we love most about [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm].

West has released an artwork teaser for the single. Check out the single cover plus his performance of “Power” at the 2010 BET Awards after the jump. It’s pretty “amazing.”

We think the art for “Power” from [lastfm]Kanye West’s [/lastfm]upcoming album Good A** Job is pretty evocative of his fall from grace after the [lastfm]Taylor Swift [/lastfm]scandal last year. It also reminds us of the tarot card, the Ace of Swords, which is card about power and insight.

With his hints at tarot, his giant Egyptian 2010 BET jewelry, and his song about “Power”, do you think Kanye West has gone on a mystical path and is trying to reclaim his own personal power? He says in his new song: “No one man should have all that power.” Do you think he is making a personal statement about the “power” of the press?

Check out Kanye’s *bleeped* out performance of “Power” at the 2010 BET Awards and let us know what you think!
