It’s always a great feeling when any major event hits Southern Cali, in this case the MLB All Star Game at The Big “A” in Anaheim.

I decided to hit the scene and talk to some of the fans.

It was a perfect day for some baseball today, the sun was brightly shining and the weather was great! Heading to the Big “A” was actually a journey. Parking was a nightmare, but once I got settled in and started mingling with all the fans.  The energy in the air was electric. Everywhere you’d turn you’d experience a little bit of flair from the different team’s accessories.  Angels, Dodgers, Yankees, Tigers, Padres, you name it and it was there.

The funny thing about this was all the characters that got kicked off  Hollywood Boulevard decided to show up to the Big “A”’  and entertain the crowd.  Allowing people to experience Elmo, Wolverine, and even the cast from Pulp Fiction while also enjoying America’s favorite pastime.

When it was time for the game to start the crowd cheered as loud as they could, while the players took their prospective spots on the field.  I, on the other hand, was cheering from the parking lot.  Luckily, I wasn’t alone. The smell grilled hot dogs and BBQ’d ribs was more than enough to keep me happy!

As you know the National League took this year’s game with a 3 to 1 victory over the American League.  If you didn’t know the National League hasn’t won an All Star Game since 1996, so big ups to everyone on that team!
