Commanding the digital charts for five consecutive weeks and being the fourth single to top the Billboard Hot 100,[lastfm] Eminem[/lastfm]’s brutally honest track “Love The Way You Lie” has certainly made an impact since its release. Collaborating with the pop superstar [lastfm]Rihanna[/lastfm], the song’s meaning hits close to home for both artists, and the highly anticipated music video is set to make a powerful impression.
The foxy Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan are featured in the video as a couple going through the battles and extremes of domestic violence in their relationship. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who has directed multiple Em videos, and filmed in Los Angeles.
“Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right,” Eminem said in a press release. “Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this. … They really brought it and made this video super-powerful.”
