[lastfm]Eminem[/lastfm] has been on top of the charts for several weeks now with his hit album “Recovery”. Find out what’s on his mind, other than his massive successes, after the jump.
We all know that the Real Slim Shady is standing. His album Recovery has taken the number one spot on the charts for several weeks and he’s now considering retiring? I know there are a lot of [lastfm]Eminem [/lastfm]fans out there and we would not want that to happen.
[lastfm]Eminem[/lastfm] has been in the rap game for more than a decade and has had a grip of number one songs. Not to mention he starred in 8 Mile with the late [lastfm]Brittany Murphy[/lastfm] and won an Oscar for his hit “Lose Yourself” in 2003. He’s teamed up with [lastfm]Dr. Dre[/lastfm], [lastfm]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm], [lastfm]50 Cent [/lastfm]and countless other artists to produce hit and number one hit.
For someone to sell 2.1-million records in just eight weeks is insane, especially in this post internet era. Still the 37-year-old rapper says he doesn’t know how much longer he has in the game. If you ask all the fans I’m sure they will all say the same thing, he has a huge fan following and for him to give up music would be devastating for his fans.
Slim Shady is all about the fans. If his concern is that the fans won’t buy his music, I can assure you he is wrong. 2.1-Million in eight weeks is proof enough of Eminem’s star power. Not to mention he’s a great live performer, if you don’t believe me you can catch him in concert in September in Fontana. You can sign up on Friends With Benefits to win some tickets to that event. You don’t want to miss out cause it will be a great show!
