Cee-Lo Bandwagon Starts To Roll
Cee-Lo‘s latest single, the censorious “F**k You!“, has gone viral. Chances are it’s made it’s way around your office like a summer cold, and if you haven’t seen it already then it’s simply a matter of time; links to it are cropping up everywhere.
In the meantime Last.fm Trends took a look at how listeners have been responding to the track online, and whether the track can survive without the video
While the numbers aren’t quite as high as the views on YouTube, or his work as one half of Gnarls Barkley, Cee-Lo’s latest is doing about as well as [lastfm]Taylor Swift[/lastfm]‘s recent release “Mine” after its rush release. That should be hugely encouraging for the singer, whose profile as a solo artist is considerably smaller than Swift’s.
It’s gone straight to the top of his weekly chart too, a position it’s likely to hold for a few weeks as it becomes an unexpected summer anthem.
