When you’re a star, there are cameras everywhere. And when you’re a star, you have the money to pay city fines. [lastfm]Shakira[/lastfm] might be about to find out what happens when those two facts intersect, as the city of Barcelona could fine the Colombian princess for laws broken during the recent filming of a video in Spain!
YouTube videos of Shakira shot by fans show her riding on the back of a motorcycle without a helmet and dancing in a fountain with fans, which would likely be considered trespassing.
Barca authorities, who clearly have NO SENSE OF HUMOR, said Shakira “does not lead by example,” despite being “a public person.” If permission is sought, they claim, “you can take this kind of footage without problems.”
You would think the entire nation of Spain would still be too happy over the World Cup to do stuff like this.
The infractions supposedly occurred during the filming of the video for “Loca,” which is pegged to be the first single from her new album Sale El Sol, due out November 2.
If fans with video cameras followed YOU around every day, would they catch you doing something illegal? What would it be?
