[lastfm]Wyclef Jean[/lastfm] isn’t even on the ballot yet for Haiti’s presidential election, but that isn’t stopping him from slamming one of his most vocal and famous critics.

Wyclef Jean responded to actor Sean Penn’s disparaging remarks in a song while performing:
I got a message for Sean Penn: Maybe he ain’t see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine.
Penn, who rushed to Haiti to volunteer after the devastating January earthquake, had previously voiced his concerns over Wyclef’s qualifications. In an article on the Huffington Post, he suggested that Jean wasn’t running for the right reasons.
Right now, I worry that this is a campaign that is more about a vision of flying around the world, talking to people…I was there for those six months after the earthquake and so many of us on the ground wondered where he was.
The Fugees frontman also made a dig at his former bandmate Pras, who has spoken out against the potential presidential candidate as well.
I got a message for Praswell, even though you don’t want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars in the Fugees.
Haiti’s electoral council denied Wyclef Jean’s request to be put on the ballot for the upcoming election. He is currently appealing the decision.
