The 9-year-old daughter of superstar [lastfm]Will Smith[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Jada Pinkett Smith[/lastfm] has decided she wants to be a popstar. However, are good genes and famous parents all it takes to get a record deal?
The Hova himself signed little Willow to his record label Roc Nation drawing comparisons to his decision to sign Rihanna when she was a teenager. [lastfm]Jay-Z [/lastfm]explained his decision to sign Willow to his record label:
I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine-year-old and I was like, ‘man that record’s a smash’.
