We told you yesterday about a newly-announced appearance for Lady Gaga in southern California, as she brings the Monster Ball to Anaheim next spring. But Gaga will be appearing in soCal long before that, taking the stage in downtown LA with [lastfm]Yoko Ono[/lastfm] next week!
[lastfm]The Plastic Ono Band[/lastfm] was comprised of [lastfm]John Lennon[/lastfm], [lastfm]Yoko Ono[/lastfm] and pretty much whomever else was around at the time. “Members” in the past have included their son [lastfm]Sean Lennon[/lastfm] (a talented musician in his own right), ex-Beatles [lastfm]George Harrison[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Ringo Starr[/lastfm], and [lastfm]Eric Clapton[/lastfm].
On October 1st and 2nd, the Band will commemorate what would have been Lennon’s 70th birthday with two nights of performances at the beautiful Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Special guests will include Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of (500) Days of Summer and “Bad Romance” cover fame), [lastfm]Perry Farrell[/lastfm] (formerly of [lastfm]Jane’s Addiction[/lastfm]), [lastfm]RZA[/lastfm], members of [lastfm]Sonic Youth[/lastfm] and, on October 2nd, the Mother Monster herself.
Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.
Little Monsters, is a Gaga guest appearance good enough for your fix until 2011?
