Justin Timberlake Gives Us The History Of Hip-Hop

Justin Timberlake Jimmy Fallon The Roots Do History Of Hip Hop

Tomorrow, The Social Network goes from being the most anticipated movie of the fall to the biggest movie in theaters. AMP favorite (and, according to no less than Roger Ebert, awesome actor) [lastfm]Justin Timberlake[/lastfm] stopped by “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night to chat about it, but he and the host also gave the world a video clip that you’re sure to see shared all over Facebook today.

In just under four minutes, JT, Fallon, and [lastfm]The Roots[/lastfm] went from “Rapper’s Delight” to “Empire State of Mind.”

And they rocked it:

Best parts: JT’s [lastfm]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm] impression, “The Humpty Dance” making a guest appearance, and both Fallon and Timberlake trying to sound like [lastfm]Notorious B.I.G.[/lastfm] And Timberlake also does a pretty great [lastfm]Eminem[/lastfm] mimic, too.

Great actor. Great singer. Great dancer. funny guy. Is it time to crown [lastfm]Justin Timberlake[/lastfm] “America’s Great Entertainer?”
