Could the Haus of Gaga be designing clothes for a store near you? [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] and Giorgio Armani signed a multi-million dollar deal yesterday, but no one yet knows what it means!

Roberta Armani, Giorgio’s niece, told the Wall Street Journal, “A huge company like Giorgio Armani has the duty to always be alert to trends and what appeals to young people. It helped to see how the world is through [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], the way she uses Facebook and Twitter.”
Wait, is this a social networking deal? Beyond that quote, the only deal points known are that Armani will design costumes for Gaga’s next tour, and Gaga’s costumes won’t be showing up on mall store shelves any time soon.
Armani is a favorite designer on red carpets everywhere, though he never specifically designs pieces for a single person, which is yet another factoid making this news confusing. Perhaps, Lady Gaga will serve as a creative consultant for the brand? One thing is for sure, Lady Gaga continues to be in demand all over the world and can completely set her price when it comes to her “services.”
