[lastfm]Eminem [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Lil’ Wayne [/lastfm]are hardcore hip-hop head honchos. There is nothing about the superstars that screams soft; both seem like they could throw punches for days. But their new video for the single “No Love” tackles some deep issues on bullying–in much the same vein as Eminem’s past two singles, “Not Afraid” and “Love the Way You Lie.”
This video brought a tear to our eye, especially after a week rife with the tragic news of LGBT teens committing suicide because of bullying. We think what Eminem and friends are trying to do through their art is not only beautiful but also one of the best ways to stop teen violence. If teenagers are going to listen to anyone, it will be the musical artists that they admire and trust.
