Earlier today, we posted a beautifully articulated “It Gets Better” video by Glee wonderboy, Chris Colfer.
Now [lastfm]Ke$ha[/lastfm] has posted one on her YouTube; amidst the black and white of her computer video camera, a serious and make-up less Ke$ha softly addressed the LGBT youth of the world and told them that they are beautiful–no matter what life choice they make.
We think Ke$ha sounds totally sincere but critics are saying that the “It Gets Better” videos are a bandwagon that every celebrity is going to jump on. Honestly, we don’t care. In dire situations like this, it doesn’t matter how the message is gotten across, as long as it’s gotten across.
It’s important for LGBT youth to understand that they are not alone.
