[lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm] is a hip-hop hero. No, literally. He’s like the “Rubber Band Man” he raps about. Dude wants to off himself and T.I. comes to the rescue, helping this guy temporarily bounce back from his depressed mood.
This afternoon in Atlanta, a young man stood precariously on the roof of a radio station. T.I. heard about it and then called in to let the station know that he was on his way to help.
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, this afternoon a young African-American male went to the roof of radio station V-103 and threatened to jump. When Tip heard about it on the radio, he called in to let them know he was on his way down to help. Once on the scene, he met with law enforcement officers and brought the young man down.
A police officer said: He came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down. When the man came down, T.I. spoke to him for a few minutes. He was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
At T.I.’ s trail, will T.I.’s judge look favorably on him for his heroic action? What do you think about Tip’s actions? Let us know in the comments!
