She’s got the surprise-hit of the year and the most talked about video of this week (until [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm] unveils “Runaway” this weekend). So, what does [lastfm]Willow Smith[/lastfm] do next? How about dropping [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]‘s name in an interview to keep that publicity going a little longer?
Like [lastfm]Madonna[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Elton John[/lastfm] before her, [lastfm]Willow Smith[/lastfm] would love to work with the Mother Monster.
“[Somebody] I would really want to work with on a song would be [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm],” she said. “She is amazing! She’s just so amazing, she’s a free person. She’s a free girl, baby.”
First, “free girl, baby?” A-dorable. Second, we can totally see her being sincere about this. But goodness, EVERYBODY talks about working with Gaga, and if everyone did, then we wouldn’t get any new Gaga goodness on its own, and then where would we be, Willow? It’s a regular tragedy of the commons, which she’ll learn about in high school – in another seven years or so.
