Willow Smith is adorable. Feisty, fresh, fierce and only nine-years-old. She is a great role model for anyone at any age. Now she is impressing us even more by advocating the concept of “woman warriors” or “Warriorettes.”
Willow Smith is primed to spread her positive message far and wide with her debut music video gleaning nearly 5 million hits in just a few days. Part of the concept of the video was about creating new positive terms to inspire strength in girls and women:
Me and my mom first came up with Willowettes, and then we came up with Warriorettes. It takes a warrior to stand up for themselves and not let anybody tell them that what they’re wearing or what they’re saying or what they’re doing is wrong. ‘Whip My Hair’ means don’t be afraid to be yourself. and don’t let anybody tell you that that’s wrong. Because the best thing is you.
