[lastfm]MC Hammer[/lastfm] is back, and he wants a piece of [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm].
Read that sentence again. We’ll give you a second.
[lastfm]MC Hammer[/lastfm], who has decided to rechristen himself “King Hammer,” is back with a new song, and he’s headhunting for the top emcee in the game, [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm].
“Better Run Run” hit the Internet today, and in it Hammer pulls no punches … or something. “Yo Jay, I got a Reasonable Doubt,” he spits. “If I knocked on your door would you come on out/If I knocked on your door that mean I’m knocking you out/If I knocked on your door boy, I’ll buss ya in ya mouth.”
Evidently, [lastfm]Hammer[/lastfm] feels that [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] took a shot at him on a recent G.O.O.D. Friday track, when [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] said “And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused / I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30 / ‘Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.”
Hammer immediately responded via Twitter, saying “Let me mess you #HellBoy (Jigga) Stans high up… What verse you gone put in front of me ? #Demons”
Seeing is believing:
Yes, King [lastfm]Hammer[/lastfm] baptizes [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] at the end of the video. This is amazing.
Hammer’s pants could not be reached for comment.
Should [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] even respond to this? We’ve heard what he can do to rappers on wax (ask [lastfm]Nas[/lastfm]). Is [lastfm]Hammer[/lastfm] too easy a target for Hova?
