Sometimes, we ask ourselves: why do all our favorite rappers go to jail while Charlie Sheen terrorizes our streets? Is there really No Mercy for our man, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]T.I.[/lastfm]? Tip has gone back to his old prison digs in Arkansas and is expected to spend the next 11 months atoning for his drug charges and assimilating to jail culture.
All while Charlie Sheen is shooting up liquid cocaine with ladies of the night. This makes no sense.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lil Wayn[/lastfm]e comes out of Rikers, The King of the South goes back to his minimum-security federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas. It’s like a revolving prison door for rappers.
T.I.’s attorney confirms that he is already in prison and just before his surrender, T.I. tweeted: “Hey yall #teamTI will be holding me down on this front with updates until I return. Thx for your continued support. In a minute No Mercy.”
T.I.’s (literal) partner-in-crime, Tiny, tweeted her sadness: “Very somber day 4me..on da plane headed bck! I’m bout 2take a nap! Tlk soon cause u guys always seem 2mk me feel alil better..God Bless!”
The two might be doing time together: Tiny was charged with a single count of drug possession and may have to do time as well.
But they may have something to celebrate when they get out! T.I. is releasing his next album, No Mercy, on December 7th. His video for “Get Back Up” with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Chris Brown[/lastfm] is due out soon. Will T.I. go the way of Lil Wayne and[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Tupac[/lastfm] and have a hit album…while in jail?
