When [lastfm]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm] talks you listen. When he performs you get out of your seat and you lose your mind, which is what would have happened had we been at his live performance on Late Show With David Letterman.
Especially since he brought out his totally awesome, blinged out mic.
Snoop performed a cover of Brothers Johnson’s “Get The Funk Out Of My Face,” which he cut for the new [lastfm]Quincy Jones[/lastfm] tribute album Q Sol Bossa Nostra.
While on the show, Snoop also took the time to talk about his next album Doggumentary Music, his 11th studio album, which will go on sale next spring.
Snoop used his izzilicious vocabulary to dish on the albums deets saying:
I want my fans to ride with me on this one and know that I am so focused on bringing good music to them. It’s called Doggumentary Music because this is my life and I want to share my music, and my process of making it, with the fans.
We’re excited to see what the Doggfather does on his next album. If this cover is any indication of what he’s toying with, we’re already excited, aren’t you?
