Oh [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm], just when we think you’ve turned the corner, you go and do something crazy or diva-licious again! This time, Kanye went on Today to formally apologize to President Bush for his “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” comment from 2005, but somehow it all went horribly wrong…

It all started when former President George W. Bush went on a media tour to promote his new book, Decision Points. In an interview with Matt Lauer, Bush called Kanye’s comments “one of the most disgusting moments” in his presidency.
The Today show thought it was only fair to bring [lastfm]Kanye West[/lastfm] on so he could respond, but producers enraged the rapper by playing footage from his infamous 2009 MTV VMA appearance in the background of the interview. Kanye snapped at Matt Lauer saying:
Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you’re going to run the thing in the middle while I’m talking?…Please don’t let that happen again. It’s ridiculous.
Not surprisingly, Kanye canceled his upcoming Black Friday performance on Today after the interview. He tweeted:
You can watch the whole interview and decide who’s right and who’s wrong, then vote in our poll!
