We’ve been on a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm] kick ever since his latest album, The Lady Killer, hit stores earlier this month.
It hasn’t been hard to do: The rotund rapper and singer has had his viral hit “—- You” everywhere, even being covered by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]William Shatner[/lastfm] on “Lopez Tonight” and Gwenyth Paltrow on “Glee.”
But there’s more to the album than giddy profanity, and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo[/lastfm] took to “Good Morning America” yesterday to give the world a taste.
Backed by his all-female band, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo[/lastfm] laid down “Bright Lights, Bigger City” for the non-televised portion of the ABC morning show, probably thinking that co-host George Stephanopoulos wasn’t ready for the adult language of the other single.
You can check out the performance over at ABC’s site, or check out this one from an exclusive party in New York at the W:
Between the fashion, the backing band and the straight-up soul of the man’s voice, how pumped are you for a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm] world tour?
