[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]P!nk[/lastfm] killed it on the American Music Awards last night and now she is giving Carson Daly the lowdown on her performance and newly-announced pregnancy!

Listen to Carson Daly interview [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]P!nk[/lastfm] on the AMP Radio morning show and read some of the highlights below:

Carson: We thought your performance and Kid Rock’s performance [on the AMAs] were some of our favorites.

P!nk: Kid Rock’s was my favorite: hands down.  That’s where you can tell who plays live and who doesn’t.  My favorite AMAs performance that I ever did was exactly that, me and a guitar player.

Carson: You’re pregnant, is that true?

P!nk: Yes! It’s true! [Laughs]

Carson: Are you as nervous running around the stage as we are?

P!nk: No, I don’t feel delicate.  That performance, that was the most I’ve worked in a long time.  The silks are actually a lot easier.

Carson: Really? Easier than the acrobatic one we saw?

P!nk: Well the Grammy performance I had done, I did that 200 times on tour before I took it to the Grammys. This performance, I learned two days before and I’m dancing and running around and out of breath.  It was interesting.

Carson: How was the show for you otherwise? Did you get to your seat? Any drama backstage?

P!nk: I watched from my room because that’s where the food was!

Carson: That’s right, you’re eating for two now.

P!nk: I actually have to agree with you.  The show [The American Music Awards] was pretty sad. But that’s just me and I know exactly what I contribute to the trash.

Carson: Kudos to you or whoever came up with the title ‘Greatest Hits…So Far!!!”

P!nk: That’s the only way it was coming out as far as I was concerned.  I’ve been fighting this for so long, but honestly, that’s the wonderful thing about greatest hits records is that record companies can put them out whenever they want.  So I was able to hold it off for at least 2 or 3 years.  How do I put this? I’m 30. It’s a little soon!

Carson: It’s a good problem to have! Most artists want to be in the place where their catalogue of music is worth putting out a greatest hits.

P!nk: No, it’s fun! As soon as I got out of my own way, I was really proud.

Carson: Tell me a little bit about your involvement on Eminem’s ‘Won’t Back Down’ track.

P!nk: He is, by far, one of my favorite artists.  He has made me laugh since the very first I ever heard him.  I was so excited that he wanted me to be on his record.  I was like, “Yes! I’ll do whatever. I don’t care what the song is!”

Carson: A lot of people don’t realize this about P!nk.  You’re a top 10 touring act.  As popular as you are here in the United States, you’re arguably twice as popular overseas.  What is it like for you when you go to a place like Australia?

P!nk: Oh, it’s like I’m a boy band! I am all 5 members in one body! No, it’s fantastic! It’s awesome. It’s so much fun in Australia.  I break records.  I have my ‘a-ha’ moments.  It’s huge, it’s super fun.  And then I come home and everyone’s like, “Eh, I haven’t seen you in awhile!” Great! I’m just going to go to Whole Foods! [Laughs]
