To quote a diametrically opposite band, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rage Against The Machine[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruno Mars [/lastfm]is quite definitely a “renegade of funk.”

While many see him as focused on his radio-friendly pop sound and his bad-boy-gone-good image, Mars is definitely a complex soul with an arsenal of musical inspirations and talents deep in his coffers.

It should come as no suprise that the soul singer “raged against the machine” in the only way he knew how–by belting out “Money (That’s What I Want)” on the popular Today Show.

Way to subtly stick it to the man, Mars!
