The lesson of the day: Never doubt that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm] can do anything. ANYTHING.

In its second week of release, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm]‘s book “Decoded” has found a spot near the top of the New York Times best seller chart, finishing third.

“Decoded,” which breaks down some of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm]‘s most famous verses and also tells stories about the emcee’s upbringing and life, has been everywhere since its release, even finding its way onto Oprah Winfrey‘s “favorite things” list.

Entertainment Weekly, en route to giving the book an A-, wrote that “Decoded” is “Shawn Carter‘s most honest airing of the experiences he drew on to create the mythic figure of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm].”

“Decoded” finished behind George W. Bush‘s memoir, “Decision Points,” and Laura Hillenbrand‘s World War II story “Unbroken.”

Big pimpin’, indeed.

What’s next for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm]? A movie? A fiction novel? A cooking show?
