Is it ok, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm], for us to say that we love you? Pretty much anything you touch turns into retro-infused, perfectly-constructed, lyrically-interesting, soul-wrenching, jaw-dropping, musical beauty.

Yes, we will go overboard on our adjectives just for you. That’s how much we love you.

In his new video for the song “It’s Ok” off his new Lady Killer album, Green sings a rather devious love song. Devious why? Watch the video and see!

“It’s Ok” shows off Cee-Lo Green’s predilection for quirky typography, bright primary 60s colors and retro shapes. It also shows off his Lady Killer instincts; Green’s got his yellow, red, and blue women in both real and animated versions, presumably making them both “green” with passion and “green” with envy over…Green.

So many colors, so much awesomeness while he sings “It’s ok/to say that you love me/I think of you (all night long)/ still think of you (all night long)” but then subsequently sings “I made mistakes/I’m only human/ And I am not ashamed to say/That you are the one.”

It’s ok, Cee-Lo. It’s ok to dip your Green thumb into every color of the rainbow!
