[Video] Mr. Schue Brings Some Jazzy ‘Glee’ To Kennedy Center Honors After Party
Oh, hello there, Mr. Schue. Are you going to soft-shoe your way into our hearts? We might need a little Christmas Glee in our lives. And by “christmas glee” we mean you singing to us in front of a cozy Yuletide fire, in a quirky Christmas sweater.
Glee‘s Matthew Morrison performed at the Kennedy Center Honors after-hours party in Washington, DC on December 5th, singing to people like Oprah Winfrey, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Willie Nelson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm].
An onlooker screams,”Let’s Party!” while another screams “[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Journey[/lastfm]!,” but Matthew Morrison gives them exactly what they didn’t know they wanted–a smooth, vibrant version of “The Street Where You Live.” Wow, they need to utilize Mr. Schue’s jazz voice more often. He’s definitely suited to be a sultry [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Frank Sinatra[/lastfm]-crooner. He’s even got the “old blue eyes” kind pizzaz.
- What do you think of Mr. Schue’s after-party performance? Do you think they should let him do jazzier songs on Glee? Let us know in the comments!
