You all know that we love our AMP favorites, but this year they’ve been getting love across the country. Rolling Stone Magazine, one of the most respected music publications in the country, released its Top 30 Albums of the Year list earlier today, and many of our (and your!) favorites found homes on the prestigious pecking order!

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] took home the top spot on the list with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which Rolling Stone said “made all other music seem dimmer and duller.”

“Is the album dark?” the magazine asked. “Sure. Twisted? Of course. But above all, it’s beautiful.”

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Drake[/lastfm] also found a home high up on the list, taking the seven spot with Thank Me Later, while [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eminem[/lastfm] also cracked the top 10 with Recovery. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift [/lastfm]was the highest non-hip-hop AMP star on the list; Speak Now came in at 13.

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Robyn[/lastfm]‘s Body Talk comes in at 14, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]M.I.A.[/lastfm] lands at 19 with Maya, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Big Boi[/lastfm] hits 21 with Sir Luscious Left Foot and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]the Roots[/lastfm] edges on to the list at 29 with How I Got Over.

What do you think? Was Kanye the king of 2010? Or was there another album released this year that you think deserves recognition?
