The indie kids at Pitchfork love him. The mainstream cats at Rolling Stone love him. And the hip-hop heads at The Source love him. Now, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] is picking up another title for the mantle, as My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was named the top album of the year by the alternative ‘zine Spin.

West’s album is at the top of the magazine’s list for 2010 with the publication calling it “a ballsy, self-aware admonition that luxuriates in its grandiose reveal as an A——s Anonymous orgy that gets nowhere close to serenity.”

That’s … good, right?

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]M.I.A.[/lastfm] is the next-highest ranked AMP artist on the list, clocking in at eighth with Maya, while [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kid Cudi[/lastfm] is right behind her at nine with Man on the Moon II and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Robyn[/lastfm]‘s Body Talk follows both at ten. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Big Boi[/lastfm] comes in at 13th with Sir Lucious Left Foot, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Drake[/lastfm] is 16th with Thank Me Later, and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm] gets some love for The Lady Killer at the 22nd spot. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gorillaz[/lastfm] is 23rd with Plastic Beach, and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eminem[/lastfm] is 38th with Recovery.

This is how you live the good life, Ye.
