[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Keri Hilson[/lastfm]’s new album might be called No Boys Allowed, but she always saves room for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kanye West[/lastfm].
“I love Kanye to death,” Hilson said. “He can really do no wrong in my eyes. He’s very much the genius that he seems to be. I respect him so much musically, an incredible talent of our time.”
However, Hilson still did have some advice for the current king of the rap game.
“I think that a lot that he does kinda undercuts his creative efforts,” she added. “I would like to see that change in a major way. I hate when the media puts your personal life in a bigger light than your creative contributions to the industry.”
Hilson’s feelings for Yeezy shouldn’t have been a surprise, though: A guest appearance by West helped her to arguably her biggest hit, “Knock You Down.”
Do you think, like Hilson seems to, that the media makes too much out of Kanye’s adventures?
