Is there a more surreal life for a popstar than the one that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] is leading right now? You go from most-hated to most-loved in a matter of months, you release a 34-minute music video, your album is the consensus top album of the year (at a time where consensus is rare) and, to top it off … you get muppet-fied.
The latest YouTube viral sensation is a Muppet version of West’s video for “Power,” complete with all your favorites: The Count, Kermit, and even Pepe the Prawn. Cut together from bits of “The Muppet Show,” “The Muppet Movie” and “Sesame Street,” the video does a solid job of matching moving mouths with the lyrics (which are extremely NSFW, which is why we can’t show you the video here).
The infamously humor-averse Yeezy seems to approve, linking to the video on a recent tweet. And it’s gaining traction on Twitter via celebrity feed mentions, too.
This isn’t the first Muppet Mashup, though – it’s become practically a cottage industry for the bored:

…and then, there are Muppet remixes that actually happened. Right, Ms. Perry?
What song should we see next? Sam the Eagle singing “Party In The U.S.A.”?
