Move over, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eminem[/lastfm]! There’s a new white rapper on the scene and his name is…Chet Hanks?

Yes, the son of actor Tom Hanks is trying to make it big as MC Chet Haze and he’s awkwardly using the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Wiz Khalifa[/lastfm] hit song “Black and Yellow” as inspiration.

Chet remixed the unofficial Pittsburgh Steelers’ anthem to honor his college, Northwestern University.

First impression? Not many people can sound cool rapping about the Midwest!  I can say this confidently because I grew up there. It just seems like Chet is trying a little too hard.

Secondly, it turns out there’s already another version of “White and Purple” that was released months ago by Mo Greene.  Check it out here.
