Okay, we’ll admit it. As much as we hate it, the holidays are over. That means it’s time to detox from all the over-eating we did during all of our family gatherings. That’s why we had the healthly food truck Seabirds stop by for Food Truck Friday!
We’re used to some pretty heavy/delicious food (exhibit A: Lardon), but the healthy and vegan Seabirds was a nice change of pace! Listen to Carson grill owner Stephanie about her inspiration for the truck:
Seabirds is one of the only trucks in SoCal to feature local, organic, vegan food. The menu is 100% plant-based and changes with the seasons. There are raw and gluten-free options available and most of the produce they use come from farms in nearby Orange County!
Owner Stephanie created Seabirds because she had a desire to provide healthy food that was convenient and fairly-priced. People unfamiliar to the vegan diet may wary of trying something new, but the menu is anything but boring — it features a variety of soups, sandwiches, burritos, tacos, and burgers.
