Ah yes, Thursday. The day of the week when we relive some of the best music videos that we all totally watched on MTV’s TRL back in the day.

This week, we’re going all the way back to the year 1998 for the epic [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Monica[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Brandy[/lastfm] duet, “The Boy Is Mine!”

Don’t deny it. You totally rocked out to this song in your bedroom after fighting over some guy with your best friend from middle school…

The music video takes a turn for the awesome when [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Brandy[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Monica[/lastfm] discover that the real enemy is their two-timing boyfriend, ER actor Mekhi Phifer.  They get their revenge in the end when he shows up at the door only to find the two girls have figured out his scam.
