What type of food can you eat anytime, any day, anywhere?

For me, it’s french fries. I just can’t get enough!

Luckily, I work at AMP Radio and get to partake in Food Truck Friday with Frysmith!

You may be asking yourself, how does a food truck survive on fries alone? Listen to owner Brook break it all down:

Brook’s husband Erik came up with the idea for a fry truck while sitting in LA traffic one day. He figured fries would be popular because people crave them at all times of the day.

But these aren’t just any french fries.

They’re made of hand-cut Kennebec potatoes and they pile all sorts of delicious toppings on it. Some fan favorites are chili and kimchi!

How did they come up with all these creations? Erik, a native of Los Angeles, was inspired by the flavorscape of our diverse city.

Frysmith also strives to be environmentally-friendly. They use free-range chicken, cage-free eggs, and biodegradable utensils.

Even cooler? They re-use the fry oil to power the truck’s engine!
