Every now and then, I’m reminded how great it was to grow up in the 1990s.
Don’t get me wrong, kids today have all the coolest toys and gadgets, but back then, there was no such thing as YouTube.
The only way my parents could publicly shame me was in our family photo albums and who looks at those nowadays when we have everything on Facebook?
Unfortunately for Royce G. Garrison, his family managed to get an embarrassing vintage performance on tape and they dragged it out of the archives for our enjoyment.

An 11-year-old Royce recorded his rendition of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mariah Carey[/lastfm]’s hit song, “Emotions,” all the way back in 1991!
Who knew that all these years later it would come back to haunt him?
But Royce seems to be a good sport about all this. He writes on YouTube:

Before you laugh too hard, don’t act like you didn’t do this in your grandparents’ basement too!
