It’s our favorite day of the week, Food Truck Friday!
There is no denying that we have become total food junkies here at AMP Radio and what with all the delicious meals on wheels that have come to cook for us, how can we not be?!
This week we are excited to welcome Spudrunners in the studio for some quality potato inspired dishes and grilled sandwich specialties!
Spudrunners is new to the food truck industry and was launched February 1st of this year. Owner/Chef, Bob Brown tells Carson why people are lining up in the city of Orange for his potato and grilled sandwich culinary delights (call us crazy, but it might have something to do with their handmade sauces and freshly baked bread):
Bob is no newbie to the food industry. He has a strong background in the restaurant business and has worked in small family-owned restaurants and national chains so he had no qualms when it came to starting a food truck.
Bob wanted to focus on a fun and versatile food that everyone can enjoy. With various varieties of fries and baked potatoes and entrees made with fresh ingredients, freshly baked bread and handmade sauces, what’s not to love?
Spudrunners is also the only truck that has a potato-based menu in Orange County. If you have yet to try Spudrunners, do so immediately!! Indulge yourself with the cheesey, potato goodness, you will not be disappointed!
There will be live bands performing, cash drawings, fun for the whole family, and 9 Thoroughbred races!
