With a classic rap battle beat and lyrical breakdown, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]B.o.B[/lastfm] edges up his usual funky, hipster pop rap with a little anger, a whole lot of verbal fire, and a gritty rhythmic bounce that knifes you right in the heart.
With lyrics like “I’m way too high for you to look at/the future ain’t looking promising for these rookies/this is target practice but I don’t even pull the f**kin’ trigger any more/’cause it’s just a waste of bullets” and “keep f**kin’ with me/you ain’t gonna have no future,” Bobby Ray is not messing around.
We love this dirty, vicious side of B.o.B and we hope that this style of rapping as a “future” in his musical lexicon.
So what does Bobby think the future manifestation of B.o.B looks like? Something like a scene out of a twisted hip-hop version of Star Wars.
